Minister Mahender Reddy’s car attacked

Telangana Minister Mahendra Reddy’s car was attacked when he went to talk to the relatives of the victims of an accident. Though he went with a good intention of helping them, the relatives and onlookers were quite agitated by the incident and out of rage they pelted stones at the minister’s car. They were demanding compensation of Rs 25laks for the victim’s families. As the situation became tense the police cleared the people forcibly to facilitate minister’s safe passage. Mahendra Reddy promised the kith and kin of the deceased a compensation of Rs 3lakhs. He further promised to increase the compensation after discussing the issue with CM KCR.
Five people lost their lives in an accident at Lingampally Gate, Manchala Mandal, Rangareddy district where a car rammed into an auto.  These people were carrying vegetables to sell at the market in an auto when the accident occurred.  The names of the people who died were declared as Chimala Mamatha, Cheimala Sujatha, Ambothu Asali, Ambothu Maru, and driver Vangala Srinu. Another three people were seriously injured and were moved to Ibrahimpatnam Hospital for treatment.
