On Friday Telangana CM KCR came to Gadwal Jogulamba District to inaugurate Gattu Lift Irrigation Project. He addressed the people at Nadigattu Pragathi Sabha. The mood of KCR is more jubilant and gregarious with political overtones.
He showered the Gadwal constituency with several ‘boons’. Though the time is not ripe yet for a midterm poll, his speech reeked with the flavour of an unabashed campaign. It almost looks like his intention is to take the Gadwal away from the Congress Stalwart DK Aruna.
For the past few days, both KCR and KTR are warning the cadre and leaders of TRS Party of an impending midterm poll. First, he started with the promise of renaming the project as Nalla Somanadri Gattu Lift Irrigation Project. He sanctioned on the spot a 300-bed hospital to Gadwal. He further sanctioned Rs 100 crores for the development of Gadwal. He promised a study centre for SCs, 119 residential schools for BCs, a School for the tribals at KT Doddi Mandal, and said he will get these sanctioned by the cabinet after returning to the Capital.
He criticized the opposition leaders for hindering the projects. He promised to make farmers proud and dwelled upon various schemes his government has brought for the development of the farming sector. He further sanctioned several minor development projects instantaneously. Later the tone of his speech became more political. He requested the people of Palamur to vote for TRS Party and to make Krishna Mohan a winner from Gadwal in the coming elections. If they vote for TRS he will make the constituency into a heaven.
