Rana as ‘HiranyaKasyapa’ to cost Rs180 cr to be made by his father Suresh Babu

Our Bhallaladeva of Bahubali fame Rana Daggubati has got a dream role to play the legendary Rakshasa King ‘Hiranyakasyapa’. The well-known story of Lord Narasimha avatar and the devotee of Lord Vishnu Prahlad form the part of the story. It is a well-known story and already some successful movies were made around this story. It is going to be a challenge for the director Gunasekhar to make it a blockbuster. He is already known in the industry for constructing some of the costliest sets in his earlier movies. When he planned the movie the project was estimated to be around 180 crores. He was of the opinion that none other than Rana could make justice to this legendary role. None of the producers was willing to take the risk of spending such a huge amount on a single movie. Rana is lucky to be part of the legendary Movie Mogul Ramanayudu’s family. His father D. Suresh Babu came forward to make the film. He is known to be a risk taker. His business acumen is impeccable. He is planning to make the movie a multilingual venture. He is betting on the fan base of Rana as the Bhallaladeva. Now the time is also ripe since not many puranic movies were made in the near past. But the movie may take some time to go on sets as Rana had several movies in hand. Meanwhile, Gunasekhar will be working on the script and designing of the sets. Suresh babu revealed that they have hired one of the country’s top artist Mukesh Singh and he is already busy designing the Vaikuntam, Indralok, and Narasimha avatar. It is going to be a magnum opus. Suresh Babu initially planned to shoot the movie in foreign locales, they have decided to shoot the movie in India itself. The fans have to wait patiently.
